Returning Board Member

Hanna Wolle

Hanna Wolle is a new downtown resident, living in the Artisan Row townhome community by the Sculpture Garden, and is excited to be part of the Downtown Neighborhood Association. A native of West Des Moines, Hanna graduated from the University of Iowa with degrees in Economics and Chinese and currently works at the Principal Financial Group. In her free time, Hanna is an accomplished violinist and plays in the Des Moines Symphony, Quartet 515, and the Des Moines Dueling Fiddles. Hanna also sits on the board of CMA – Civic Music Association and CultureALL, and she is a graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute.

New Board Members

Matt Ohloff

Matt Ohloff lives in Artisan Row townhomes and has been a downtown Des Moines resident for the past 4 years. Matt graduated from the University of Iowa in 2006 with a degree in political science and graduated high school in Ankeny. He currently works for Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement as a Senior Campaign Organizer focusing on clean energy and climate justice issues. Matt has a passion for sustainability, livable communities, social justice, and grassroots political and social involvement. Matt also enjoys running, cycling, live music, local foods, and local craft beer.

Austin Lewis

Austin Lewis lives and works in downtown Des Moines. After growing up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Austin relocated to Des Moines to attend Drake University. Soon after graduation, he moved to 10th Street Lofts downtown and currently works as an actuary at Global Atlantic. Austin’s goal is to make downtown Des Moines resident’s voices heard in local government – so they can have an influence on how their neighborhood grows and develops.
